Quick wins are fun to talk about. Building wealth is boring. We focus on the boring stuff that actually works over decades, not the exciting gambles that make good stories.
How We Actually Teach This Stuff
- Start with the fundamentals everyone skips. Asset allocation isn't sexy, but it determines 90% of your returns. We spend real time here.
- Break down Australian tax implications properly. Your investment return isn't what you make. It's what you keep after tax. Big difference.
- Practice with scenarios that actually happen. Market drops 30%. Interest rates spike. Your job disappears. What do you do?
- Build your personal strategy based on your life, not some generic template. A 25-year-old with no kids has different needs than a 45-year-old with three.
Your Learning Path Over Six Months
Our next cohort starts September 2025. We run small groups because this isn't about cramming information. It's about changing how you think about money and markets.
Foundation Month
We start with why investing exists and how markets actually function. Most people skip this. Don't. Everything else builds on understanding these basics properly.
Analysis Skills
Learn to read financial statements, understand what they actually mean, and spot the red flags companies try to hide. This takes practice, so we do lots of it.
Strategy Building
Now you build your own approach. What assets suit your goals? How much risk makes sense for your situation? What does your portfolio actually look like?
Who This Actually Works For
You don't need to be a finance expert. But you do need to be willing to learn and think critically. Our students come from all backgrounds. Teachers. Engineers. Small business owners. What they share is curiosity and commitment.
This program runs evenings and weekends because most of you have jobs. We meet in Castle Hill and online, depending on what works for the group. Six months feels long, but this is knowledge you'll use for 40 years.
