Build Your Financial Confidence
Our structured program brings together practical knowledge, personal guidance, and real-world scenarios. We've been running cohorts since 2019, and each one reflects what we've learned from actual participants who've gone through the journey.
Who You'll Learn From
Three people who've spent years figuring out what actually works—and what doesn't—when it comes to managing money and building portfolios.
Callum Venables
Portfolio Strategy
Spent a decade working with mid-sized portfolios before joining us in 2021. His sessions focus on asset allocation and risk—topics that sound dry but end up being surprisingly practical once you see them applied to your own situation.
Eloise Pritchard
Market Analysis
Worked in equity research for nine years and now teaches how to read financial statements without getting lost. She has a knack for breaking down complex reports into things you can actually use when evaluating investments.
Desmond Kincaid
Behavioural Finance
His background is in psychology and economics, which means he spends a lot of time talking about why we make the decisions we do with money. His perspective helps you spot patterns in your own thinking that might be costing you.
How the Program Unfolds
We run cohorts twice a year. The autumn 2025 session starts in late September and runs through early December. It's structured but flexible enough to fit around other commitments.
Weeks 1–3: Foundations
We start with the basics—understanding different asset classes, how markets function, and what diversification actually means beyond just owning a few different stocks. This phase is about building a shared vocabulary so everyone's on the same page.
Weeks 4–6: Analysis Skills
You'll learn how to read financial statements, evaluate company fundamentals, and assess market conditions. We use real examples from Australian companies, so it's relevant to what you'll encounter locally.
Weeks 7–9: Portfolio Building
This is where theory meets practice. You'll create a mock portfolio based on your own goals and risk tolerance, then present your thinking to the group. The feedback sessions here tend to be the most valuable part for most participants.
Weeks 10–12: Strategy Refinement
The final phase focuses on adapting your approach over time. Markets change, personal circumstances shift, and you need strategies that can evolve with both. We also cover tax considerations and long-term planning.
Weekly Workshops That Actually Help
Every Tuesday evening from 6:30 to 8:30 PM, we meet at our Castle Hill location for the main session. These aren't lectures—they're working sessions where you apply what you're learning to real scenarios.
Saturday mornings are optional review sessions where small groups work through case studies together. About 70% of participants join these because they find the peer discussion helpful.
Between sessions, you'll have access to recorded materials and a private discussion forum where you can ask questions as they come up. Most people spend 3–5 hours per week on the program outside of workshop time.

Autumn 2025 Cohort Details
We keep groups small—usually 18 to 22 participants—so there's room for individual questions and personalised feedback. Registration opens in July, and spots typically fill by mid-August.
